Gold's Gyms Of The Carolinas is seeking a Group Exercise Instructor to lead group classes, guiding members through a prearranged format to improve fitness, strength and endurance while prioritizing safety.

Applicants should hold ACE/AFAA/ACSM certifications and demonstrate knowledge of physiology, body mechanics, and how to operate audio equipment. The role includes ongoing participant engagement and adherence to class schedules.

Formación

• Must hold a recognized group fitness certification (ACE, AFAA, ACSM, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of safe exercise technique and group exercise principles.
• Knowledge of basic physiology and body mechanics.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and coaching skills.
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot audio equipment.
• Specialized skills (Yoga, Pilates, Body Pump, etc.) require verifiable education.

Responsabilidades

• Lead classes in a group setting using the approved class format.
• Assess participants' fitness levels, and tailor intensity as needed.
• Provide clear verbal instructions; manage music tempo and class atmosphere.
• Monitor form and safety, offering exercise variations for all levels.
• Create a motivational, fun environment and engage participants.
• Ensure class starts and ends on time, following facility procedures.
