• Lead and deliver group fitness classes based on industry standards and approved formats that begin and end promptly, and adheres to the format, standards, and times scheduled.
• Instruct participants on effective workout methods; explain proper techniques, demonstrate exercises, identify different muscle groups, and teach appropriate methods and modifications.
• Provide clear verbal instructions, ensuring the music tempo and atmosphere are motivational and conducive to learning and fun.
• Coach and motivate participants to achieve fitness goals while monitoring for signs of injury or overexertion.
• Interact with participants, answer questions, orient new members, solicit feedback to maintain long-term participation and retention.
• Ensure correct form, offer modifications for all fitness levels, and maintain a professional attitude and appearance.
• Represent Gold's Gym group exercise professionally and adhere to dress code and safety standards.
• Deliver scheduled classes and arrange substitutes to avoid cancellations.
• Provide appropriate music and ensure equipment and sound systems are functioning; maintain a clean GGX room.
• Notify management of any equipment or facility repairs; document attendance.
