The YMCA of Metropolitan Atlanta is seeking a Level I Group Exercise Instructor to lead land and water classes. You will set up classes, educate participants on THE COACH APPROACH, and ensure safety and compliance with wellness standards.

Under the Wellness Director, you will log attendance in GroupEx PRO, stay current on certifications, and participate in staff meetings. This is a great role for individuals passionate about community fitness and youth well-being.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required; 18+ years old.
• Must obtain YMCA/ACE Group Exercise Instructor Certification within 60 days.
• Water certifications if teaching aquatic formats.
• Maintenance of CPR/AED and other wellness certifications.
• Strong customer-service and teamwork abilities.

Responsabilités

• Carry out daily program tasks related to group exercise scope.
• Promote and ensure smooth class operation with high service quality.
• Log attendance in GroupEx PRO by class night and check for updates twice weekly.
• Maintain branch and association certifications in CPR/AED and safety guidelines.
• Assist in wellness cabinet activities and support community involvement.
