Job summary

YMCA in Nazareth, PA is seeking a part-time Group Exercise Instructor to lead engaging, inclusive fitness classes. The role requires certification in a recognized group fitness discipline and a passion for connecting with members to inspire healthier lifestyles.

You will adapt your class style for the participants, ensure safe instruction for all abilities, and may substitute for other instructors as needed. Join a welcoming, supportive team at the Y.

Qualifications

• Certification in group fitness required (National Group Fitness, yoga, cycle, Pilates, or Les Mills).
• Ability to connect with members, foster a positive presence, and build relationships.
• Ability to adapt class style to the members in front of you.

Responsibilities

• Find new and engaging ways to connect with members during class.
• Instruct safe, effective classes for all abilities in the gym.
• Serve as a substitute for fellow instructors when needed.
• Wear YMCA gear proudly and be an advocate for the Y.
