Requirements include 1 year of group fitness instruction, CPR and BLS certifications, and a current primary group exercise certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM) or a specialty credential. A high school diploma is required and ongoing trainings are expected.

Qualifications

• NCCA-accredited primary Group Exercise certification (ACE, AFAA, NASM, ACSM) OR specialty certification required.
• CPR/AED certification required.
• BLS certification required.
• High School Diploma required.
• 1 year of group fitness instruction or leading specialty fitness instruction required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and lead group exercise classes according to class format.
• Attend trainings and participate in continuing education.
• Provide safe progressions, modifications, and cues for participants.
• Report equipment issues promptly.
• Build supportive relationships with members to foster community engagement.
• Arrive early, greet class participants, and manage class flow.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and equipment.
