Job summary

Elite Fitness in Farmington, CT, is seeking an energetic fitness instructor to lead group classes for members of all levels. You will design safe, effective workouts and motivate participants throughout sessions.

A valid CPR certification and nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA/ACE/NASM) or Yoga/Pilates certification are preferred, along with Zumba certification. You must maintain ongoing education and uphold club policies.

Qualifications

• Maintain CPR certification.
• Nationally Accredited Aerobic Certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM) preferred.
• Valid Yoga or Pilates Certification also acceptable
• Zumba Certified

Responsibilities

• Instruct safe and effective exercise classes.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Elite brand and model behavior in accordance with Elite mission statement.
• Facilitate all member requests or forward to a manager.
• Maintain professional disposition at all times.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Follow all policies and procedures in Employee Handbook.
