Job summary

Crunch Fitness - Undefeated Tribe is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to deliver high-energy group workouts and engage with members on their fitness journey.

You will build relationships, maintain class standards, and participate in trainings while promoting the Crunch brand across a vibrant, expanding network of clubs.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels (bootcamp, Kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, Sculpt, Yoga, Pilates, Cycle, POUND, HIIT).
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification required (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred).
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to deliver high-energy, engaging class environments.
• Strong communication and customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-energy Group Fitness classes and experiences that meet member expectations.
• Help members achieve their fitness goals and maintain motivation.
• Track class attendance and participate in weekly emails and Zoom meetings.
• Attend quarterly staff trainings and be active in the instructor portal and brand promotions.

Position Overview

We are looking for a Group Fitness Instructor who is passionate about becoming a part of our club members fitness journey and providing a great group fitness class experience.

What You’ll Do:

As a Group Fitness Instructor, you will deliver a superior group exercise class and fitness experience. The Instructor will get to know our members and become a part of their journey to ensure that their class experience and fitness expectations are met. This position is pivotal in allowing Crunch to achieve our vision “to be the best place to work, and workout.”

• Delivers high-energy, inclusive classes members love, consistently hitting format standards while adding personal flair to boost attendance and retention.
• Builds genuine member relationships—learning names, goals, and preferences—to keep them motivated and connected to their fitness journey.
• Creates a fun, professional experience from warm-up to cool-down, showing up prepared/on-time and owning performance every class.
• Communicates reliably with leadership, supports club culture through teamwork, and continuously grows via trainings while embodying the Undefeated Tribe values.

You prefer to delegate tough decisions to others, and at times find it difficult to say no. You thrive in support and customer service roles, where your excellent people & sales skills can shine. As long as you are excited about the product or service, up-selling comes easy to you. You are a natural pacemaker, and prefer that everyone get along.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver motivational instruction during the member Class-ic Group Fitness experience
• Helping members achieve their goals on their fitness journey
• Respond with care to any member issues concerning group fitness classesAssist with accurately tracking class attendance numbers
• Participate and be engaged with weekly emails, monthly ZOOMs
• Attend the quarterly staff meeting for onsite training and new quarter class roll out
• Be involved with the instructor portal and social media for any updates and brand promotions

Qualifications:

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift or move up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Physical effort required for daily duties include prolonged standing and walking

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required

Compensation (hourly)

• Admin rate: $12.00
• Class rate: $23.00-$30.00
