Job summary

Crunch Fitness seeks a Group Fitness Instructor to lead members in energetic group classes, ensuring safety and effectiveness. The GFI will emphasize small group training, class variety, and high energy for attendees.

Responsibilities include instructing diverse classes, knowledge of equipment, maintaining certifications, and promoting additional programs. Eligibility includes a high school diploma, 18+ age, and legal work status in the USA. Compensation listed as $22/hr with bump opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Strong member service skills and good verbal communication.
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred).
• Yoga or Pilates certifications are acceptable.

• Always maintain professional disposition.
• Build a supportive and motivating rapport with members and guests.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Actively promote other group fitness classes and personal training programs
• Attend all required club/team meetings.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) is the face our Group Fitness team. The GFI will lead members in a group environment through safe and effective fitness classes. They will teach exciting and challenging Group Fitness classes for Crunch Fitness members and guests. He or she will exhibit a passion for small group class-based training and maintain a high level of energy for class attendees.

Employment Eligibility

• All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). This requirement is in place to ensure that all employees have the basic level of education necessary to perform the duties of their roles effectively.
• To be eligible for employment at Fitness Ventures LLC applicants must be at least 18 years of age. This policy ensures compliance with applicable laws and helps maintain a safe and productive work environment.

Salary

$22/hr (Hourly & Bump Rate)
