Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead Crunch Fitness group classes in a safe, energetic manner. The role involves engaging members, maintaining certifications, and promoting additional classes and personal training services.

Position is part-time, on-site at San Dimas. Applicants must be 18+, eligible to work in the U.S., and possess current CPR/AED and a nationally accredited aerobic cert. Competitive hourly pay of $22 with potential for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group fitness classes for clients of all levels.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM) preferred; yoga/pilates certs acceptable.
• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Job description

The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) is the face our Group Fitness team. The GFI will lead members in a group environment through safe and effective fitness classes. They will teach exciting and challenging Group Fitness classes for Crunch Fitness members and guests. He or she will exhibit a passion for small group class-based training and maintain a high level of energy for class attendees.

Responsibilities:

• Instruct a variety of group exercise classes.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercises.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the training rooms.
• Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with Crunch mission statement.
• Always maintain professional disposition.
• Build a supportive and motivating rapport with members and guests.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Actively promote other group fitness classes and personal training programs
• Attend all required club/team meetings.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred) Valid Yoga or Pilates certifications are acceptable
• All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). This requirement is in place to ensure that all employees have the basic level of education necessary to perform the duties of their roles effectively.
• To be eligible for employment at Fitness Ventures LLC applicants must be at least 18 years of age. This policy ensures compliance with applicable laws and helps maintain a safe and productive work environment.
• All applicants must be eligible to work in the United States pursuant to both state and federal requirements and maintain their eligibility to work in the United States throughout their employment. Applicants must also provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. including the required documentation for e-Verification.

Salary: $22/hr (hourly + bump)
