Job summary

Crunch Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to lead exciting group classes for members and guests in Chatsworth, CA. In this role you will teach a variety of group fitness sessions, maintain proper certifications, and uphold Crunch brand standards with high energy and supportive coaching.

The ideal candidate has experience teaching across fitness levels, current CPR/AED, and a nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA/ACE/NASM preferred).

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred).
• High school diploma or GED.
• Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Build a supportive and motivating rapport with members and guests.

• Actively promote other group fitness classes and personal training programs
• Attend all required club/team meetings.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) is the face our Group Fitness team. The GFI will lead members in a group environment through safe and effective fitness classes. They will teach exciting and challenging Group Fitness classes for Crunch Fitness members and guests. He or she will exhibit a passion for small group class-based training and maintain a high level of energy for class attendees.

Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred) Valid Yoga or Pilates certifications are acceptable
• All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED). This requirement is in place to ensure that all employees have the basic level of education necessary to perform the duties of their roles effectively.
