Job summary

Crunch Fitness is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor in Jurupa Valley, CA. In this role you will lead energetic group classes, maintain certifications, and uphold Crunch brand standards while fostering a supportive member experience.

Part-time position with on-site duties and responsibilities across the studio. The ideal candidate has experience teaching diverse classes, current CPR/AED certification, and an approved aerobic certification; Yoga or Pilates certs are acceptable.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Current CPR/AED Certification.
• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred); Yoga or Pilates certifications acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Instruct a variety of group exercise classes.
• Knowledge of fitness equipment and exercises.
• Maintain all mandatory education certifications.
• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the training rooms.
• Understand, and follow all policies, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the Crunch brand and model behavior in accordance with Crunch mission statement.
• Always maintain professional disposition.
• Build a supportive and motivating rapport with members and guests.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Actively promote other group fitness classes and personal training programs
• Attend all required club/team meetings.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) is the face our Group Fitness team. The GFI will lead members in a group environment through safe and effective fitness classes. They will teach exciting and challenging Group Fitness classes for Crunch Fitness members and guests. He or she will exhibit a passion for small group class-based training and maintain a high level of energy for class attendees.
