Plus One, an Optum company, is seeking a Group Fitness Instructor to teach all genres at our fitness center in Rancho Mirage, CA. You will develop engaging class formats, curate motivating playlists, and focus on client results by adapting moves for all fitness levels.

The role offers coverage across multiple locations with a comprehensive benefits package. Certification, CPR/AED, and experience in group fitness or related wellness fields are required.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate, specialty class license (i.e. Zumba®, etc.) and current CPR /AED certification (no online CPR/AED certification accepted).
• Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable about the industry with the customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients, guests, and participants.
• Must communicate professionally using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and relay information to and from clients/guests.
• Ability to effectively engage participants as a public speaker.
• Competent with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $30 to $75. Plus One, an Optum Company, adheres to all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws as applicable.
