Job summary

Plus One, an Optum company, is hiring a Group Fitness Instructor for our Bellevue, WA fitness center. The role emphasizes delivering engaging workouts, leading diverse classes, and fostering client progress with inclusive movements and motivating playlists.

You will support attendance growth, adapt formats for all levels, and may cover multiple locations, contributing to a vibrant wellness culture and employee engagement.

Qualifications

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate, specialty class license (i.e. Zumba®, etc.) and CPR/AED certification (no online CPR/AED certification accepted).
• Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.
• Must be knowledgeable about the industry with the customer skills to network, engage, and interact with all clients, guests, and participants.
• Must communicate professionally using appropriate vocabulary and grammar to obtain and relay information to and from clients/guests.
• Ability to effectively engage participants as a public speaker.

• Opportunity to provide class coverage at multiple locations.

Requirements:

• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness Certification or specialty class certificate, specialty class license (i.e. Zumba®, etc.) and current CPR /AED certification (no online CPR/AED certification accepted).
• Prior experience in Group Fitness, Personal Training, corporate health promotion, wellness, etc.

Pay is based on several factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, certifications, geographic differentials, and other business and organizational needs.
