Caltech is hiring Group Fitness Instructors to teach a range of classes for students, staff and community members. Instructors work under the Director of ARI to deliver safe, engaging sessions across formats such as Boot Camp, Spin, HIIT, Barre, Pilates and more.
Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of teaching experience, current CPR/AED, and knowledge of anatomy and kinesiology. Must lift up to 50 lbs and be able to sub for others as needed.

Our Group Fitness instructors teach a variety of assigned classes in our recreation program. Currently we are looking for regular instructors in a variety of fitness formats.
Under direct supervision of the Director of ARI, instructors will provide group fitness instruction in a variety of classes, monitor & educate patrons on fitness and exercise, and maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for class participants.
Instructor may be asked to teach a variety of cardiovascular, strength, dance, Pilates, or flexibility-based group fitness class formats to students, faculty, staff and members. Class formats include: Boot Camp, Spin, Weight Training, High Intensity Interval, Barre, Pilates, Dance Fitness, & Aqua Aerobics. Class size from 10-20 participants.
$22.50 per hour
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training.
