The candidate should hold current CPR/AED, be certified in aerobic formats (AFAA/ACE/NASM preferred), and have a high school diploma. This position is part-time with opportunities to grow within the Crunch team.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching group exercise classes for clients of all levels.
• Current CPR/AED certification.
• National aerobic certification (AFAA/ACE/NASM) preferred; Yoga/Pilates acceptable.
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the United States.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Follow all instructor sign-in/sign-out procedures.

• Always maintain professional disposition.
• Build a supportive and motivating rapport with members and guests.
• Follow all club/facility policies and procedures.
• Actively promote other group fitness classes and personal training programs
• Attend all required club/team meetings.
• Execute other duties as assigned.

The Group Fitness Instructor (GFI) is the face our Group Fitness team. The GFI will lead members in a group environment through safe and effective fitness classes. They will teach exciting and challenging Group Fitness classes for Crunch Fitness members and guests. He or she will exhibit a passion for small group class-based training and maintain a high level of energy for class attendees.

Requirements

• Nationally accredited aerobic certification (AFAA, ACE or NASM preferred) Valid Yoga or Pilates certifications are acceptable
