Primary Duties & Responsibilities

We are seeking a Fitness Rockstar to inspire others through engaging group exercise classes. Responsibilities include developing programs for various fitness levels, staying current with fitness trends, and ensuring safety and motivation through excellent communication skills. Candidates should have at least one year of experience, be certified in Personal Training or Group Fitness, and CPR/AED certified. Flexibility for early mornings or weekends is required.

Application Details

This announcement is for current and future Fitness Instructor positions. Applicants will be contacted as needed. The hiring salary is $22.00/hour. This is a VHNE position (less than 29 hours/week, no medical benefits, sick leave provided).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma; degree in Kinesiology or Sports Science preferred
• At least 1 year of experience in fitness instruction or personal training
• Knowledge of exercises and client needs
• Ability to instruct and motivate
• Licenses: Personal Trainer/Group Fitness Instructor certification, CPR/AED

Working Conditions

• Frequent shifts, including early or late hours and weekends
• Indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Physical demands involve moving up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, and bending
