Position: Group Fitness Instructor

Merrill Gardens at Cedar Mill is currently searching for a Group Fitness Instructor familiar with program development, planning, and instruction of group fitness classes/activities, including aquatic classes.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s preferred
  • Group Fitness Certification (ACE or equivalent) within 3 months
  • 2+ years experience, especially with seniors
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of injury prevention and fitness best practices

Physical requirements include frequent standing, walking, lifting up to 75 lbs, and assisting residents. Reasonable accommodations are available.
