Job summary

Crunch, LLC in Sterling, VA is seeking a Group Fitness Coordinator to lead the day-to-day success of the group fitness program at the club. You will recruit and develop instructors, build a compelling class schedule, and drive member engagement to help members enjoy a robust fitness experience.

The role emphasizes organizing schedules, coaching instructors, and ensuring class coverage with minimal cancellations.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in group fitness, fitness operations, or a similar people-focused environment preferred.
• Previous experience as a Group Fitness Instructor, Lead Instructor, Fitness Coordinator, or similar leadership role strongly preferred.
• Current nationally recognized Group Fitness certification preferred.
• Current CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain certification within onboarding period.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a strong, balanced group fitness schedule.
• Recruit, interview, audition, and onboard new group fitness instructors.
• Monitor instructor availability and coordinate substitutes; minimize last-minute cancellations.
• Drive member engagement by promoting classes and events and collaborating with club leadership.
