Job summary

Crunch Fitness – Undefeated Tribe in Saint Paul, MN seeks a Group Fitness Coordinator to recruit and train a team of passionate instructors and to ensure a superior class and fitness experience for members.

You will oversee scheduling, programming, and instructor development, while actively teaching a portion of classes and collaborating with the Club Management team to uphold Crunch standards and culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience creating group fitness schedules.
• Experience teaching exercise classes for clients of all levels (bootcamp based classes, Kickboxing, Zumba, TRX, Sculpt, Yoga Pilates, Cycle, POUND, HIIT).
• Experience with budget and expense management preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Nationally Accredited Group Fitness Certification required (AFAA, ACE, or NASM preferred).
• CPR/AED certification required (can be obtained within 30 days of hire).

Responsibilities

• Oversee Crunch Fitness Class-ic Training Program.
• Recruit, hire, train and oversee development of a team of Class-ic Instructors.
• Facilitate the implementation of new Group Fitness programming.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute regular schedules, ensuring all classes are covered.
• Respond to all member issues concerning group fitness classes/Class-ic training program.
• Manage payroll and reporting schedule, ensuring each instructor is properly paid.
• Provide seasonal inventory of all equipment to the General Manager.
• Manage quarterly staff meetings for onsite training and new quarter class roll out.
• Attend regular meetings with Club Management on communication and events.
• Actively teach 10% of group fitness classes.
