Taymax Group, LP operates Planet Fitness franchises and is seeking a fitness trainer at our San Antonio, TX location. You will run the PE@PF program, guide members toward their goals, and demonstrate proper equipment use to ensure a safe, engaging experience.

The role emphasizes customer service, health-conscious motivation, and teamwork within a busy club environment. CPR and PT certification are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• CPR certification is required.
• Personal Training Certification from IFA, ACE or NCSF is required.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize members with the facility and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Lead the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and manage the schedule.
• Consult with members on fitness goals and provide motivation.
• Instruct safe use of all equipment and acclimate members to machines.
• Create bi-weekly updates with varied exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and traffic.
• Assist at the front desk with calls, sign-ups, tours and check-ins.
• Perform daily cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Respond to member questions and escalate as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
