Job summary

Palm Coast 2 Fitness, LLC seeks a friendly Trainer to lead the Planet Fitness PE@PF program at our Palm Coast club. You will engage members, demonstrate equipment, and help them reach their fitness goals in a welcoming environment.

This role emphasizes safety, customer service, and teamwork within a busy club, with opportunities to guide members through tours, front desk support, and program scheduling.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/GED equivalent required
• Current CPR Certification required
• Personal Training Certification from a preferred association (IFA, ACE or NCSF) is required
• Responsible for familiarizing members with the facility, maintaining a comfortable atmosphere for members and visitors, and motivating members that seek support
• Instruct and acclimate members to each piece of equipment in the club ensuring they know how to properly and safely use the equipment
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic
• Assist in front desk related activities including: Answer phones and assist callers
• Check members into the system
• New member sign-up
• Take prospective members on tours
• Track inventory
• Participate in the daily cleaning of the club and general maintenance of the equipment
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed
• Other duties as assigned based on club needs

Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program and manage the schedule.
• Consult with members on fitness goals and provide motivation.
• Instruct members on proper and safe use of all equipment.
• Create bi-weekly exercise updates.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist with front desk tasks and member check-ins.
• Show prospective members around the club.
• Track inventory and help with club maintenance.
• Respond to member questions professionally and escalate as needed.
• Other duties as assigned based on club needs.
