Job summary

Planet Fitness - PF Baseline Fitness in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a full-time Trainer to lead the PE@PF program, guide members toward their goals, and promote class sign-ups. The role includes front desk duties, member tours, and maintaining a welcoming, clean club environment.

You will work with members to design simple workouts, teach proper equipment use, and update bi-weekly exercise routines to meet club needs. A fitness trainer certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and run the Planet Fitness PE@PF program, including creating and following the schedule.
• Consult with members regarding their fitness goals and instruct them on how to use the equipment properly and safely.
• Creating creative and unique ways to promote PE@PF class sign-ups.
• Create bi-weekly updates consisting of a variety of exercises.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and member traffic.
• Assist in front desk related activities (Answer phones, check members into the system, new member sign-up, tours, update member information).
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Team Lead, MIT or Club Manager as needed.
• Help maintain the neatness/cleanliness of the club.
• Assist in cleanliness and appearance of club.
