Job summary

Taymax Group, owner of Planet Fitness clubs, seeks a Fitness Trainer in Hermitage, TN to lead the PE@PF program, assist new members, and guide equipment use for goals. You will create engaging workouts and ensure a welcoming environment consistent with the Judgement Free Zone.

We value an upbeat, punctual candidate with exceptional customer service, CPR certification, and a preferred personal training credential (IFA/ACE/NCSF).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• CPR certification required; passion for fitness and health.
• Punctual, upbeat with exceptional customer service skills.
• Professional diplomacy and strong listening abilities.
• Personal training certification from IFA, ACE or NCSF preferred.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize members with the facility and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
• Lead the PE@PF program and manage the class schedule.
• Discuss fitness goals with members and provide motivation.
• Instruct proper and safe use of all equipment.
• Create biweekly exercise updates across routines.
• Meet class requirements based on club size and traffic.
• Assist front desk tasks: check-ins, sign-ups, tours, inventory.
• Participate in daily cleaning and equipment maintenance.
• Address member questions and escalate as needed to management.
