Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a full-time Group Facilitator for our Detox and Residential facility. You will lead group therapy, provide psychoeducation, and support clients in building healthy coping skills within a structured, evidence-based program.

The role requires an active Indiana clinical license or credential (CADAC/LAC/LCAC/LMHC/LMFT) and at least 1 year of experience in addiction treatment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Active Indiana clinical license or addiction counseling credential (CADAC I-V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, or LMFT).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in the treatment industry preferred.
• Licensure to practice in Indiana is required.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups tailored to client needs.
• Assist clients in developing coping skills and recovery tools.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to monitor client progress and challenges.
• Escalate significant client concerns to Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions and charting.
