Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Indianapolis, IN is seeking a full-time Group Facilitator for our Detox and Residential programs. You will lead group therapy, provide psychoeducation, and support clients in developing coping skills and recovery tools under clinical supervision.

Qualified candidates hold an Indiana clinical license or CADAC I-V, with at least one year in treatment preferred; sobriety if in recovery is required.

Qualifications

• Indiana clinical license or CADAC I-V or equivalent is required.
• Minimum one year experience in the treatment industry preferred.
• Valid licensure to practice in Indiana is necessary.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year sobriety period is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy and psychoeducation sessions.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills and recovery tools.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to monitor client progress.
• Escalate significant concerns to the Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of group sessions.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and charting are completed.
