Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in South Bend, IN seeks a Group Facilitator to lead therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups within our detox and residential programs, helping clients build healthier coping skills and relapse-prevention tools.

You will collaborate with clinical staff to monitor client progress, escalate concerns to the Clinical Director, and maintain thorough documentation and charting for all sessions, while upholding warm, respectful, recovery-centered presence.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling, or related field is required or preferred.
Minimum of one year experience in the treatment industry is preferred.
Valid licensure to practice as a clinician in Indiana is required.
If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills are essential.
A warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles.

What We're Looking For
