Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Clarksville, IN is hiring a full-time Group Facilitator for our Detox and Residential program. You will conduct group therapy, provide psychoeducation, and help clients build healthy coping skills and recovery tools.

Work with clinical staff to monitor client progress and escalate concerns when needed. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure all assessments and charting are completed to support individualized care.

Qualifications

• Must hold Indiana clinical license or addiction counseling credential.
• Minimum one year experience in treatment required.
• Valid licensure to practice in Indiana.
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation and process groups.

• Collaborate with clinical staff to track client progress and challenges.

Now Hiring full-time Group Facilitators for our Detox and Residential treatment facility, located in Clarksville, IN.

What You'll Do

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client's challenges and needs
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to keep track of client challenges and progress
• Escalate any significant client concerns to Clinical Director
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting is completed

What We're Looking For

• Current Indiana clinical license or addiction counseling credential (CADAC I-V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, or LMFT)
• Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred
• Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in this state
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
• Strong presence and sound judgement
• Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles
