Job summary

Avenues Recovery Center in Clarksville, IN is seeking full-time Group Facilitators for our Detox and Residential facility. You will conduct group therapy, provide psychoeducation, and support clients with coping skills and recovery tools.

Ideal candidates hold an Indiana clinical license or CADAC/LMHC/LMFT credentials, with at least one year in the treatment field and good communication, observation, and interpersonal skills. In recovery? sobriety of one year is required.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana clinical license or addiction counseling credential.
• Min. one year experience in treatment industry.
• Valid licensure to practice as a clinician in Indiana.
• If in recovery, minimum one-year sobriety requirement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills and recovery tools.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to track client progress.
• Escalate significant concerns to Clinical Director.
• Maintain thorough documentation of group sessions.
• Ensure all clinical assessments and client charting are completed.

Now Hiring full-time Group Facilitators for our Detox and Residential treatment facility, located in Clarksville, IN.

What You'll Do

• Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client's challenges and needs
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools
• Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to keep track of client challenges and progress
• Escalate any significant client concerns to Clinical Director
• Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted
• Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting is completed

What We’re Looking For

• Current Indiana clinical license or addiction counseling credential (CADAC I-V, LAC, LCAC, LMHC, or LMFT)
• Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred
• Valid licensure necessary to practice as a clinician in this state
• If in recovery, a minimum one-year period of sustained sobriety is required.
• Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
• Strong presence and sound judgement
• Warm, dignified and honest character that inspires trust and models recovery principles
