Job summary

Copa Health is seeking a passionate, full-time Group Facilitator to lead group sessions in behavioral health programs in Arizona. You will engage members, promote treatment goals, and deliver an evidence-based curriculum tailored to group needs.

Responsibilities include documenting sessions, tracking attendance, coordinating with clinical teams, and ensuring HIPAA compliance. Candidate should have 21+ years, a high school diploma with experience, or a behavioral health bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or GED and 1 year of relevant experience in a behavioral health setting required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health field preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in facilitating groups.
• Experience working with multicultural and low socio-economic populations.
• Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must meet driver requirements including AZ license, 5 year MVR, insurance, and vehicle registration.

Responsibilities

• Lead group sessions with 6–12 members using active listening and verbal/non-verbal communication.
• Conduct regular check-ins with teams to ensure participation and address concerns.
• Track engagement, attendance, and feedback from members.
• Maintain clear, consistent communication with leadership about group progress.
• Document group activities, participation, and sessions daily.
• Maintain and discuss referrals with members based on interests.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to align groups with treatment plans.
• Develop and implement lesson plans using evidence-based curricula.
