Job summary

Monte Nido & Affiliates, LLC is seeking a Group Facilitator to lead therapeutic groups for clients in our eating disorder treatment programs. In this role, you will co-facilitate evidence-based, recovery-focused groups and collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

You will document sessions, monitor engagement, and promote a trauma-informed, inclusive environment while supporting individualized treatment goals and relapse prevention.

Qualifications

• Licensed or license-eligible mental health professional (LMFT/LCSW/LPC/LPCC) preferred.
• Certification or formal training in group therapy or counseling preferred.
• Training in eating disorder treatment or related specialty strongly preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid certification often required.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
• Trauma-informed care training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and co-facilitate structured therapeutic groups for eating disorder clients
• Implement evidence-based group interventions aligned with individualized treatment plans
• Maintain accurate and timely group documentation in accordance with policy and regulation
• Monitor client engagement, safety, and progress during groups, escalating concerns as needed
• Collaborate with therapists, dietitians, nurses, and other team members on client care
• Support a trauma-informed, inclusive, and recovery-focused milieu
• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing training
• Educate clients on coping skills, relapse prevention, and healthy behaviors
