Job summary

Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Westchester in White Plains, NY is seeking a Full Time Group Facilitator. The role focuses on facilitating group sessions, creating a safe environment for patients to share emotional difficulties, and supporting personal development.

Qualifications

• Actively pursuing a master's degree in social work, psychology, or related field.
• Licensed (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., LMFT, LCSW, Psychologist).
• Experience treating eating disorders in residential or inpatient settings is helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group sessions.
• Foster interaction between group members.
• Maintain awareness of individual clients' needs.
• Support identification and expression of feelings.
• Document group sessions including progress and concerns.
• Follow program format and requirements.
• Ensure timely documentation of direct patient services per policies.
• Develop positive relationships with staff and colleagues.
• Attend mandatory training and collaborations.

Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Westchester, located in White Plains, NY is a primary eating disorder day treatment programexclusively for aadults seeking treatment for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. Through partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programming, clients participate in group and individual therapy, benefit from Monte Nido’s clinical, medical, psychiatric and nutritional expertise and experience real life challenges.

The Group Facilitator is responsible for facilitating and implementing group sessions. The goal is for the facilitator to create a safe environment so that all patients feel comfortable in sharing about emotional difficulties. The group facilitator will also need to provide a catalyst for the personal development of the patients.

We are seeking a Full Time Group Facilitator to join our Monte Nido team.

Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday 7:30am-3:30pm

Pay Range: $21-$28/hr

• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with staff, interns, management and other professional colleagues.
• Attend mandatory training and in-service collaborations.

Qualifications

• Must be actively working on master’s degree in social work, psychology or related human services field
• Licensed (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, etc.).
• Prior experience treating those with eating disorders in a residential or inpatient setting is very helpful.
• Knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion practices
