Job summary

Music City Detox seeks a Group Facilitator to lead group therapy, crisis intervention, psychoeducation presentations, and experiential learning for clients in an in-person setting.

You will collaborate with case managers, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and the clinical director; ensure timely clinical documentation; participate in staff trainings; and handle other duties as assigned to support client care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Human Services is required.
• Experience with addictions and mental health diagnoses preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of KIPU electronic medical record system is preferred.
• CPR/First Aid Certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides group therapy, process groups, psychoeducational groups, and crisis intervention services.
• Works closely with treatment team including case managers, NPs, and the clinical director.
• Completes clinical documentation in line with state, insurance, and Joint Commission regulations.
• Attends staff training and meetings as required by the employer.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Work Environment

This position is an in-person/office work environment. There will be daily face-to-face interaction with staff and clients. The workday will vary, but it will often include sitting at a desk, working on a computer, meeting with clients, and completing paperwork.
