Job summary

Downtown Family YMCA, part of the YMCA of Greater Richmond, is seeking enthusiastic group exercise instructors to lead a variety of classes. Pay ranges from $20-$23 per hour for standard instructors and $27-$31 per hour for Advance instructors, based on qualifications and certifications.

Instructors should maintain current certifications and be able to work mornings, evenings, and weekends to meet member needs while upholding the YMCA’s values and mission.

Qualifications

• Must hold current, nationally recognized group exercise certification (documentation required).
• CPR, AED and First Aid certifications are required.

The Downtown Family YMCA is currently seeking part time, enthusiastic, high energy group exercise instructors to lead a variety of group exercise classes! Group Exercise Instructor pay range is $20-$23 per hour and Advance Group Exercise Instructor pay range is $27-$31 per hour based on qualifications & certifications.

DUTIES of a Group Exercise Instructor

• Group exercise instructors should be able to work flexible hours to meet member needs, including mornings, nights and weekends.

QUALIFICATIONS of a Group Exercise Instructor

• Group exercise instructors must hold current, nationally recognized group exercise certification (documentation required) along with current CPR, AED and First Aid certification.
