Job summary

VillaSport Athletic Club and Spa is looking for Group Exercise Instructors in Pleasanton, CA to teach complimentary classes to members and guests. Instructors are responsible for delivering safe and engaging exercise classes while motivating members and representing the club professionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of relevant teaching experience.

Position Summary

Group Exercise Instructors teach complimentary group exercise classes to Villa Sport members and guests. Each instructor delivers safe, effective, and engaging classes in line with Villa Sport’s guidelines. Instructors motivate members, support their fitness goals, represent the group exercise program professionally, promote participation in their own and fellow instructors’ classes, and help promote club programs, events, and services.

Compensation and Benefits

• $16.00 hourly when working in a capacity outside of teaching.
• $20.74 - $32.00 hourly when teaching, based on experience.

• Current certification as a Group Exercise Instructor from an approved organization.

• Ability to perform frequent bending, kneeling, balancing, squatting, running, jumping, kicking, stretching, pushing and/or lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to move or carry exercise equipment as necessary.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including seasonally hot or cold temperatures.
