Job summary

Mountain Park HOA is seeking a passionate Water Exercise Instructor to lead safe, engaging aquatic fitness classes for members of varying abilities. You’ll plan structured workouts, warm-ups, cardio, strength, flexibility, balance, and cool-downs while modeling proper form and providing modifications.

You’ll create an inclusive, motivating environment, set up and store equipment, communicate professionally with members and staff, and maintain safety.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of group aquatic fitness instruction experience preferred.
  • Current aquatic fitness certification from a recognized organization (AEA or equivalent).
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Lead engaging group water exercise classes for participants of varying fitness levels.
  • Plan and deliver structured workouts with warm-ups, cardio, strength, flexibility, balance, and cool-downs.
  • Demonstrate proper technique and provide modifications as needed.
  • Safely incorporate aquatic equipment and monitor safety.
  • Create an inclusive, motivating environment and communicate professionally.
  • Set up, organize, and store equipment before and after each class.
  • Arrive prepared with class plans and music.
  • Coordinate with Mountain Park staff as needed.
