Job summary

52 Limited seeks a Contract Group Enrollment Specialist to onboard new small commercial groups from start to finish, ensuring eligibility, benefits, rates, and group data are accurate and timely.

You will collaborate with Sales, Underwriting, and Membership Accounting to enable smooth onboarding for new and existing groups, while upholding quality and regulatory standards. Remote work is allowed for residents in specified states and Pacific Time hours.

Job description

We are searching for a Contract Group Enrollment Specialist for our health insurance client. In this position, you will help onboard new small commercial groups from start to finish, ensuring eligibility, benefits, rates, and group information are established accurately and on time. You’ll work across Sales, Underwriting, and Membership Accounting to keep things moving and deliver a smooth experience for new and existing groups.

As a Group Enrollment Specialist, you will:

• Establish new commercial groups and process group eligibility, benefits, rates, and supporting documentation.
• Review group information and apply established eligibility rules, policies, and procedures accurately.
• Ensure group setup and renewal activities meet quality, productivity, confidentiality, and deadline requirements.
• Partner with Sales, Underwriting, and Membership Accounting to resolve questions and support group onboarding.
• Prioritize a varying workload while maintaining accuracy and meeting established performance expectations.
• Protect member and group information and follow applicable corporate and regulatory requirements.
• Support the broader Group Service team through shared workloads and coverage as needed.

Who we’re searching for / About you:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience in the healthcare industry or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with health insurance enrollment, eligibility, membership, claims, customer service, or group benefits is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately process high volumes of information.
• Comfortable following established procedures while using good judgment to identify and resolve issues.
• Able to work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to learn complex systems.
• Strong data-entry skills; typing speed of 40 WPM with 95% accuracy and 10-key proficiency are preferred.
