Job summary

Omnicom Media seeks a Group Director, Communications Design to lead the next generation of planning and ensure design principles are embedded across client work. You will guide a team toward best-in-class, idea-led, culturally empowered communications ecosystems that drive effectiveness.

The role requires extensive integrated planning experience, leadership of senior teams, and proven ability to manage large, high-budget campaigns including pharma clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in an integrated planning role in media, publisher / vendor, or communications discipline (digital, content)
• Experience with high budget clients that participate in the linear video and CTV Upfront
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Proven ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with senior clients, colleagues and vendors
• Strong leadership and project management capabilities
• Experience working with pharmaceutical clients is a plus

Responsibilities

• Act as lead design counsel for clients at key periods (e.g. annual planning) or across key projects (eg. New launches)
• Responsible for communications design product excellence across major planning initiatives across designated client base
• Lead adoption of best-in-class communications design approaches and innovation, and adherence to planning process
• Oversee collaboration with external partners and internal teams to ensure creative excellence and strategic fit
• Oversee architecture development, analytics strategy and ecosystem delivery across owned, earned, shared & paid channels
• Ensure high output quality and consistency from the communications design team
• Support profitable integration of Specialty Business Unit leadership within design team
• Identify opportunities to grow staffing levels and talent for client assignments
• Manage product outcomes for new business pitches including casting talent and running brainstorms
