You will craft long-form copy for patient and HCP audiences, guide brand information, and ensure copy quality aligns with client objectives. A 5-7 year pharma ad agency background is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in advertising, communications, or journalism, with life sciences focus.
• 5-7 years’ experience at pharma advertising agency.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong conceptual ability and creative problem-solving.
• Experience developing work for both patient and HCP audiences.
• Client-facing experience is a plus.

Our GSW Santa Monica team is looking for a Group Copy Supervisor with strong conceptual thinking and a proven ability to bring ideas to life. This role requires someone who can balance creativity with strategic thinking and deliver high-quality work that meets client objectives.

This position requires candidates to be based in the Pacific or Mountain time zones to support team collaboration and business needs.

Responsibilities include:

• Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create novel and original work in a variety of mediums—print, digital and beyond
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively with cross-functional team
• Writing long form copy, establishing and managing the brand tone, claims, and overall copy consistency
• Responsible for guiding and developing the product/service/brand information that bolsters the creative group’s conceptual ideas and creative executions
• Understanding and implementing direction: Can understand creative direction based on objectives and executes creative work effectively
• Communicates workload appropriately based on skill sets and talents; communicates well with others on workload issues & needs, the progress of work and results
• 5-7 years' experience at pharma advertising agency
• A portfolio that demonstrates strong conceptual ability and creative problem-solving
• Experience developing work for both patient and HCP audiences
• Client-facing experience is a plus
• Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in advertising, communications, or journalism, and/or coursework related to pharmaceutical advertising or life sciences

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $140,000. The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high of the Syneos Health range for this position. Actual salary will vary based on various factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, and proficiency for the role. In addition, some positions may include eligibility to earn commissions/bonus based on company and / or individual performance.
