Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is hiring for a Group Coordinator Lead-Tasker 2nd Shift at our Garland, TX area facility. The role focuses on leading a team handling inbound and outbound warehouse operations, with heavy emphasis on coordinating order waves and using the WMS to move workloads efficiently.

Typical shift is 2:30 AM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with overtime as needed. Competitive hourly pay plus a small shift differential, and benefits including medical, dental, and vision, paid vacation,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferred.
• 1 year+ warehouse experience, preferred.
• 1-2 years’ experience in data entry and/or dispatch, preferred.
• Basic understanding and application of Microsoft Excel, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the team of taskers.
• Plan, allocate, pick, manifest, and close daily waves of orders.
• Understand and utilize system screens to monitor and move workload through the system.
• Work closely with operations to identify and eliminate overages, shorts and damages causing inventory issues.
• Manage the scheduling of inbound carriers and the outbound shipping schedule by updating appropriate communication methods.
• Generate and utilize system reports and audit sheets to evaluate the shift progress.
• Communicate directly with the carrier(s) to insure seamless physical and systematic transactions.
• Oversee exchange of parcel shipments from shipping dock to carrier’s truck.
• Resolve data transmission failures/errors with customer’s IT and procurement teams.
• Interface with IT contacts in event of system-related barriers.
• Insure complete communication for turn of shift.

• Position: Group Coordinator Lead-Tasker 2nd Shift
  Position will consist of a mix of picking/loading using MHE and by hand.
• Shift: 2:30AM to 10:30PM –; Monday –; Friday
• Overtime will be required as needed.
• Pay:$21.75 per hour + $1.00 shift differential

Requirements:

- Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience leading an InBound and OutBound team.

- Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience with Warehouse Managment Systems.

- Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months experience with MHE

- Candidates must have a minimum of 12 months experience in Warehousing

- Continuously lifting of 50-100 lbs, utilizing team lifting when necessary.

- Able to work in non-climate-controlled environment
