Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Group Coordinator Lead for the 2nd shift (6:00pm–4:30am, Wed–Sat). You will supervise warehouse staff, assign daily tasks, train new employees and ensure accurate receiving of goods, cycle counts, and inventory control.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in logistics leadership, 6 months of stand-up forklift experience, and WMS exposure (e.g., SAP, Blue Yonder, JDA).

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a progressive supply chain/warehouse leadership role.
• Minimum 6 months of stand-up forklift operation experience.
• Experience with multiple material handling equipment including cherry picker and electric pallet jack.
• 1 year in inventory control, including cycle count and discrepancy reporting.
• 6+ months of experience with a WMS (e.g., SAP, JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder).

The core responsibilities of this role include: Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff. Assign daily tasks and shift schedules to team members. Cycle Count, Inventory, Warehouse, General Labor, Forklift, Material Handler, Machine Operator, Cherry Picker

Shift: Second (2nd) Group Coordinator Lead

Schedule: Wednesday - Saturday 6:00pm-4:30am

Pay: $22.35 per hour Plus $1 shift differential

In addition to the general job description below, the ideal candidate will also possess the following skills and/or experience

• Lead, Supervisor, Production, Warehouse experience
• Lead and manage the workflow and work duty allocation for team members within an assigned department of the facility to include: Put-Away, Inventory, Receiving, Shipping / Pack-out, Staging, Order Selecting areas.
• This is a working-lead role. You will work alongside your team while being the initial point of contact for associates.
• A minimum of 3+ years in a progressive role within a supply chain, logistics, warehouse or distribution environment as a Team Lead, Workflow Planner or other role that requires making decisions and leading other associates in their daily tasks.
• The role reports directly to the Supervisor and will be responsible for training associates, monitoring production, giving constructive feedback to the associates, providing training to new associates, and assisting the Supervisor to ensure highest customer standards.
• A minimum of 6 month’s experience operating stand-up material handling equipment is required.
• Experience operating other material handling equipment such as Order (Cherry) Picker, Sit-down, Clamp, Electric Pallet Jack is also a plus.
• A MINIMUM of 1 year experience in Inventory Control to include: Cycle Count, reporting inventory discrepancies, receiving inventory, monitoring inventory levels.
• At least 6 month’s experience with a WMS (Warehouse Management System) or similar systems such as JDA, Red Prairie, Blue Yonder, SAP, etc.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads.

Key Accountabilities:

• Conduct training for new associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Required Education and Experience:

• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• 6-12 months forklift operation experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
