Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Chattanooga, TN is hiring for a Second Shift Group Coordinator Lead. The role oversees the inbound workload, assigns tasks, and ensures targets are met while maintaining accuracy per procedures.

Responsibilities include training associates, logging records, and supervising daily operations. A high school diploma and forklift certification or training within 30 days are preferred, with 6–12 months of warehouse experience

Qualifications

• 6-12 months warehouse experience.
• Forklift operator certificate or training within 30 days.
• Experience operating order picker and stand-up/reach trucks preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily inbound workload and assign tasks to the team.
• Verify inbound accuracy per warehouse procedures and customer requirements.
• Monitor progress and ensure daily workloads meet targets.
• Open/close building and communicate safety concerns to supervisor.
• Train new associates and maintain accurate records.

Shift:3:30pm - 2:00am Monday - Thursday

Pay: $20.00 per hour + $1.00 Shift Differential

Role Purpose

Responsible for assigning work schedules, training associates and monitoring associate progress for the work group they are directing. Provides day-to-day direction and guidance to work group. Responsible for daily workloads.

Key Accountabilities

• Conduct training for new associates.
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs.
• Review documents prepared by members of the work group for accuracy and legibility.
• Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed.
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
• Communicate work practices, procedures, and methods to associates.

Required Education and Experience

• 6-12 months warehouse experience
• 6-12 months forklift operation experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment, preferred
