Job summary

MSI Express, Inc is seeking a Sanitation Lead to coordinate the sanitation team and execute SSOPs across all packaging and processing equipment. The role involves sampling, reporting mechanical issues, and updating the Master Cleaning Schedule, with strict adherence to safety and PPE requirements.

The ideal candidate will understand all sanitation equipment, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and participate in required site training including allergen programs.

• Knowledge of plant/warehouse equipment (Essential).

• Reports Food Safety and Quality problems promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.

Job Description:Job Description: Sanitation Lead PRIMARY PURPOSE:The Lead works at the direction of Sanitation Manager in support of the execution of the sanitation process.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:Coordinates sanitation team in performing all SSOPs on all equipment (i.e., packaging, cartoners, blending).Performs Multi-Variable Platform surface swabbing sampling device.Identifies and reports mechanical issues to Sanitation Manager.Follows, records and updates Master Cleaning Schedule.Ability to complete sanitation schedule in a timely manner.Handles and dispenses chemicals according to procedure.Completes required site-specific training as applicable (i.e., Allergen).Understands the proper utilization of all PPE associated with the sanitization process.Ability to assist maintenance with the shake-down process as required in the sanitation procedures.Follow all company policies including but not limited to general manufacturing and safety practices.Able to take direction and follow through on all assigned tasks.This position has responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence.
