Job summary

You will assemble/disassemble equipment per SSOPs, handle chemicals safely, participate in site training, and report any issues to the Sanitation Manager while complying with PPE protocols and safety policies.

Qualifications

• Assemble and disassemble equipment per SSOPs.
• Complete SSOPs on equipment per quality requirements and ATP swabbing tests.
• Prepare rooms per supervisor directions and execute accordingly.
• Handle and dispense chemicals according to procedures.
• Complete site-specific training as applicable.
• Identify and report mechanical issues to Sanitation Manager.
• Understand the proper utilization of PPE with the sanitization process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and disassemble equipment following SSOPs and quality rules.
• Carry out SSOPs on equipment to meet ATP testing and quality standards.
• Prepare work areas and sanitation rooms as directed by supervision.
• Safely handle and dispense sanitation chemicals per procedures.

• Identify mechanical issues and report them to the Sanitation Manager.
• Use PPE correctly and adhere to safety guidelines.

Industrial Hygiene Worker

Primary purpose of the role: Industrial Hygiene Worker is responsible for the execution of the sanitation process as dictated by the site. This associate takes direction from the Supervisor as specified with any tasks related to a safe and effective sanitation process. Industrial Hygiene Worker is responsible for the successful execution of the sanitization process as outlined by the quality department.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for assembly and disassembly of equipment in accordance with SSOPs
• Ability to satisfactorily complete SSOPs on equipment in accordance with all quality requirements and ATP swabbing tests
• Able to take direction regarding room preparation and execute accordingly
• Handles and dispenses chemicals according to procedures
• Completes required site-specific training as applicable
• Identifies and reports mechanical issues to Sanitation Manager
• Understands the proper utilization of all PPE associated with the sanitization process
• Perform other duties as assigned

This position has responsibility for Food Safety and Quality within their influence. The associate has the responsibility to report, in a timely manner, Food Safety and Quality problems to personnel with authority to initiate action on those problems.
