Job summary

Evergreen Services Group, a San Francisco-based holding company, seeks a Group Controller to lead finance and accounting for a portfolio of government and services businesses. You will manage consolidated reporting, partner with the COO on EBITDA growth, and drive ERP initiatives across multiple entities, including M1 Technology and Cedar Solutions Group.

Strong GAAP, CPA preferred, and multi-company leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of accounting experience with GAAP compliance
• Experience in multi-entity consolidation and financial statement prep
• Experience leading audits and tax processes
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field; CPA preferred
• The anticipated compensation range for this role is $140K - $165K
• Based in the DMV area with ability to manage across a portfolio of companies

Responsibilities

• Lead consolidated monthly financial reporting across five operating companies
• Partner with COO to execute against budgeted EBITDA and growth opportunities
• Own annual budgeting and quarterly reforecast processes
• Manage ERP conversions and implement unified monthly close
• Oversee audits and tax processes across the group
• Hire and develop accounting and finance talent across the portfolio
• Build scalable finance systems and automation to enable growth
