Job summary

Summit BHC in Nashville, TN is seeking a Group Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial function across divisions and facilities. The role emphasizes EBITDA growth, cash flow optimization, and sponsor reporting within a behavioral healthcare platform.

The Group CFO will provide strategic financial guidance, oversee revenue cycle and capital planning, and develop a high-performing finance organization. Remote-friendly with regular visits to the Franklin, TN headquarters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business with significant financial concentration.
• Nine or more years of progressive CFO experience in a healthcare setting.
• Two years previous Division CFO or company Group CFO experience required.
• Behavioral healthcare experience and proprietary healthcare system experience preferred.
• Proven financial analysis skills and strong technical accounting and finance skills.
• Experience with information technology and proficiency with Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership to drive EBITDA growth, cash flow, and ROIC.
• Translate operational performance into financial insights for sponsors.
• Support sponsor reporting, forecasts, and variance explanations.
• Provide enterprise-level financial leadership across divisions and facilities.
• Maintain on-site engagement to assess financial operations and opportunities.
• Lead preparation for Monthly Operating Reviews and financial governance.
