Job summary

Primoris T&D Services, LLC is seeking motivated individuals for Groundmen/Entry-Level Lineworker roles in the Tampa Bay area. This position offers hands-on training, onboarding with experienced lineworkers, and exposure to overhead and underground electrical power systems.

You will assist with tool/material preparation, site setup, and safe work practices while traveling to project locations and working extended hours when required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Willingness to travel and work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must complete required pre-employment screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist lineworkers with preparing and organizing tools, materials, and equipment.
• Load/unload tools and materials from company vehicles and keep work areas tidy.
• Operate hand and power tools under supervision following safety rules.
• Assist with installation and maintenance of overhead and underground systems.
• Follow safety procedures, participate in pre-job hazard assessments, and support traffic control when needed.
