Job summary

Tucker Paving Inc. in Winter Haven, FL is hiring an Underground Utility Pipe Mud Crew Member to support installation and site preparation for underground water, sewer, and storm drainage utilities. You will work with a pipe crew performing trenching, backfilling, and pipe installation tasks as part of a safety-conscious team.

The role requires physical labor, adherence to OSHA standards, and the ability to collaborate with foremen, operators, and other crew members to ensure quality work on site.

Qualifications

• CDL license required.
• Minimum 2 years of dump truck experience preferred.
• Experience in a construction environment preferred.
• Ability to follow directions and work safely as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation of underground utilities including water, sewer, and storm drainage pipe systems.
• Perform pipe laying, trenching, grading, and backfilling operations.
• Help pipe layers and operators with materials, tools and site prep.
• Prepare trenches and work areas for pipe installation.
• Set and align pipe installation activities as directed by Foreman or Superintendent.
• Perform manual labor tasks including lifting, digging, shoveling, and moving materials.
