Environmental Resources Management, Inc. (ERM) is hiring a Remediation System Technician to support a key client site in Marshall, IL.

The role is onsite five days per week on average, part-time (approximately 10 hours per week), with an estimated duration of 12 months and the possibility of annual renewal. The technician will operate, maintain and monitor a groundwater extraction and treatment remediation system, perform weekly site visits, adjust flow and pressures, collect permit samples and

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience at remediation sites and systems preferred.
• English is required.
• Available for emergency response within 24 hours.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with stakeholders.
• Ability to multi-task, stay flexible, and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Commitment to high-quality project delivery and client service.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain and monitor a groundwater extraction and treatment remediation system.
• Perform weekly site visits to collect system parameters.
• Adjust well flow and pressures for effective operation.
• Participate in bi-weekly team calls to guide operations and decisions.
• Collect samples for permit monitoring and VOC analysis.
• Respond to alarms and troubleshoot with ERM engineers.
• Perform routine maintenance on system components as needed.
• Oversee subcontractor maintenance activities.
