Job summary

ITMS, Inc. is seeking a Groundwater Operator for Aberdeen Proving Ground to manage daily operations of a groundwater treatment facility, perform testing, document results, and ensure safe, compliant processes.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 3 years of related coursework, and knowledge of treatment technologies. A Maryland Class VI license is preferred or obtainable within 6 months.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relative coursework or project experience in treatment plant operations.
• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledgeable groundwater treatment technologies; metals removal, filtration, dewatering, UV oxidation, carbon systems.
• Maryland Class VI Operators license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

• Perform daily operation of a Groundwater Treatment Facility.
• Perform operational duties, daily testing and record keeping as well as process control functions.
• Responsibilities also include regulatory and safety compliance.
• Assist with routine maintenance and facility grounds upkeep.

• Perform daily operation of a Groundwater Treatment Facility
• Perform operational duties, daily testing and record keeping as well as process control functions
• Responsibilities also include regulatory and safety compliance
• Assist with routine maintenance and facility grounds upkeep
• In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position

Education

• High School diploma or GED is required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for this requirement.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledgeable and skilled in groundwater treatment technologies, including but not limited to metals removal systems, particulate filtration systems, sludge dewatering, ultraviolet oxidation, absorptive resin/steam regeneration systems, liquid and vapor phase granular activated carbon systems
• A Maryland Class VI Operators license or equivalent, or the ability to obtain within the first 6 months employment
