Seeking a new career challenge? Then Woolpert is seeking you! Woolpert is hiring a Groundwater and Hydrogeology Global Practice Leader to join our dynamic Infrastructure team remotely. This position reports to the Market Director and is responsible for supporting the growth and delivery of groundwater and hydrogeology services. Qualified candidates will have experience leading teams, mentoring staff, and serving as the technical lead.
Responsibilities
As a Groundwater and Hydrogeology Global Practice Leader at Woolpert, you will:
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor of Science or Engineering. Master of Science or Engineering is preferred
- Must be a licensed Professional Geologist (PG) or (PE) Engineer with 15+ years of experience in groundwater and hydrogeology services
- Must have experience leading teams, mentoring staff, and serving as the technical lead.
- Must be proficient overseeing teams utilizing groundwater modeling software such as MODFLOW, Groundwater Modeling System (GMS), MIKE SHE, FEFLOW and other groundwater related software
- Must demonstrate strong leadership and team management skills. Must be proficient at directing, delegating, mentoring and coaching staff.
- Must have above average verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills for both internal and external relationships.
- Must be able to manage multiple, competing priorities and projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to analyze and evaluate multiple project components, schedules and budgets.
- Must be able to establish and maintain rapport with clients, vendors, management and associates.
- Must possess negotiation, conflict management and problem-solving skills.
- Must possess above-average facilitation and/or meeting skills.
- Must have Microsoft Office suite skills.
